Preheat oven to 300°F. Grease or spray 2 silicone bun pans (6 buns each). Let all ingredients come to room temperature. |

Separate eggs, whites in one bowl, yolks in another bowl. |

Sprinkle cream of tartar over the egg whites. Using a hand mixer, beat egg whites until stiff peaks are formed. |

Mix softened cream cheese with egg yolks until smooth, may use a mixer. |

Gently fold egg whites into cream cheese and egg yolk mixture, keeping as much air as possible in the egg whites. |

Fill bun pans (I put them on a large cookie sheet for stability) and place them in the preheated oven.
Bake for 25 min. or until golden brown. Remove from pans, cool and refrigerate in plastic bag. |
